The Vernacular is Trinity College’s undergraduate literary magazine, run by students for students. Our mission is to offer a space for students to share their work and celebrate their contributions to the campus writing community. We take submissions of fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, academic writing, and screenplays/scripts. We publish our issues twice during the academic year: once after the Fall semester and once after the Spring. We at the magazine are excited to present the third print edition of The Vernacular releasing in December of 2024 to showcase the Fall semester. The magazine invites all to the edition’s launch party (with free copies available) in the Smith House on Friday, December 6th at 7:00pm.
